On July 26, 2011 permission was granted for the LMA:
"Greetings,
Writing to you today to ask for inclusion in the great Live Music Archive.
Big Ed's Gas Farm is my band.
We formed in 1997 and played mostly in the CT and MA area. While we are no longer performing in that line up (Jay Taylor - Drums, Bill Megofna - Guitar, Vocals & Marc Saccoman - Bass) we have amassed quite a collection of live concert recordings from that time.
In the spirit of the Grateful Dead who we all grew up listening to we have always encouraged the taping and trading of our shows. At one point in time we had established the Big Ed's Tape Farm where we gathered spectators blanks at a show, filled them up and returned them at the next show, always without looking for profit.
Please consider this not only as a formal request to be included beside the great bands already hosting their live recordings on the archive but permission to do so as well.
